In a retrospective registry study [21] and an open, uncontrolled study [22], sacubitril/valsartan improved LVEF and New York Heart Association (NYHA) class and reduced levels of N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in patients with cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction who were symptomatic despite treatment with optimal heart failure medication.
