XK and influenza: Oseltamivir is one of currently available anti-influenza drugs, which target the NA active sites, and have been widely used for more than 10 years; however, during the 2007–2008 influenza season, cases of oseltamivir-resistant IFV A H1N1 emerged rapidly [8], highlighting the need to determine novel targets that can be exploited to inhibit viral replication and prevent the spread of IFV infections.
