DBP and infection: One of these protein species displays diffuse nuclear staining, which closely resembles DBP at early times in the experiments shown in Figure 1 or when the protein is expressed at the lower concentrations of DNA (Figure 5); the second species displays a pattern of distribution that is similar to DBP-condensates observed at late times post-infection (Figure 1) or in cells transfected with higher amounts of DNA (Figure 5A,B).
