Amygdalin inhibits the adhesion of breast cancer cells, lung cancer cells, and bladder cancer cells by decreasing the expression of integrins, reducing catenin levels, and inhibiting of the Akt-mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) signaling pathway, which may consequently lead to the inhibition of metastases of cancer cells [35].
