This analysis revealed that these targets were enriched for seven viral diseases (hepatitis B, toxoplasmosis, Epstein–Barr virus infection, hepatitis C, influenza A, tuberculosis, and viral carcinogenesis), three inflammation-associated pathways (PI3K-AKT, TNF, and MAPK signaling pathways), and cancer (Table 1). The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is tuberculosis.
