The bead-based array revealed that several growth factors (VEGF, HCF, Ang-2, TGF-α, EPO, SCF, FGF, and PDGF-BB) and pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α and CXCL8) could be major contributing factors in the propagation of oral cancer cells owing to their higher levels compared to other factors in the secretome. Here, TNF is linked to lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
