To perform this task in a comprehensive and systematic way, we (i) conducted mRNA analyses on a genome-wide level, (ii) applied a stepwise bioinformatics analysis from DEGs through enriched pathways to select the pathways with the highest biological relevance, (iii) compared results with low type-2 asthmatics with no accompanying obesity and included a healthy control group, and (iv) performed all the analyses in a highly purified population of CD4+ T cells. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and Obesity.
