In cervical cancer cells, TSA (1 μM) induces autophagy by significantly suppressing protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5) and transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily V, member 6 (TRPV6) levels and enhancing stanniocalcin 1 (STC1) and JNK levels [186]. Here, TRPV6 is linked to cervical cancer.
