Therefore, based on the knowledge that tumorigenesis may be accompanied by genetic alterations leading to GIN, we selected kinesin family member 11 (KIF11) and kinesin family member 14 (KIF14) involved in the cell division as potential biomarkers of CRC, the impaired expression of which may be associated with CRC pathogenesis and/or shorter survival time of CRC patients. Here, KIF11 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
