In this study, we analyzed skin samples of psoriasis patients using the LC–MS/MS method and reported of six ERPs, namely HMOX1, KRT19, LDHA, HSPD1, MAPK1, and CA2, that were differentially expressed in the lesional and uninvolved skin of female MS participants (Table 4) and were not present in the skin of their male counterparts (Table 5), suggesting an existence of a gender-dependent response to the disease. Here, MAPK1 is linked to psoriasis.
