Moreover, the SYK gene was also significantly upregulated in various cancer types, such as invasive breast carcinoma (BRCA), cervical squamous carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck (GBM), acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (Figure 1b).
