Patients with at least one well-perfused, fluorescence-enhanced parathyroid gland (ICG 2 ≥ 1) had significantly higher postoperative PTH levels, lower chances of hypoparathyroidism, and required shorter durations of calcium supplementation to maintain normocalcemia than those with no well-perfused parathyroid gland (ICG 2 = 0). This evidence concerns the gene PTH and hypoparathyroidism.
