Within the cohort of patients with severe CKD, those undergoing revascularization had significantly higher levels of hs-cTnT compared to patients who were conservatively treated (at presentation: 46 (28–81) versus 160 (69–485) ng/L, p < 0.0001; at 3 h: 55 (29–88) versus 194 (105–409) ng/L, p < 0.001; at peak: 56 (32–93) versus 282 (132–746) ng/L, p < 0.001; Figure 2B and Supplementary Table S3). This evidence concerns the gene TNNT2 and chronic kidney disease.
