To assess whether OLFML3 expression correlates with the number of macrophage-associated factors in human tumors, we analyzed the same CRC patient datasets (GO:0006955) and found a strong correlation between OLFML3 and the expression of the oncostatin M receptor (OSMR), CCL2 and CCL7 chemokines, and their respective receptors CXCR5 and CXCR2 (Figure S7E). This evidence concerns the gene CXCR5 and colorectal carcinoma.
