In summary, in the present exploratory clinical study, the oral administration of CAE to reproductive-aged women living with overweight and obesity produced important changes in the plasma eCBome, which may be indicative of potential beneficial effects at the level of hyperphagia (through increased levels of an anorectic factor, such as OEA), insulin sensitivity (through increases of endogenous agonists of GPR119) and inflammation (through the increase of anti-inflammatory mediators like DPEA and DHEA). This evidence concerns the gene GPR119 and Obesity.
