HSPA8 and systemic lupus erythematosus: As in lupus in which B cells act as APCs, it is possible that here also P140 affects antigen-presenting capacities of neutrophils by destabilizing its receptor, the chaperone HSPA8, leading to a lowering of overexpression of antigens by MHC-II molecules to T cells, and a normalization of functions of cells of the innate and adaptive immune system.
