We discovered that the hypertension group had more preoperative endocrine disorders, namely, suspicious PA [defined as PAC >15 ng/dl and PAC/PRA > 25 (ng/dl)/(ng/ml·h)] and suspicious secondary aldosteronism [SA, defined as PAC > 15 ng/dl and PRA > 4.5 ng/(ml·h)] (Table 1). The gene discussed is S100A6; the disease is Hypertension.
