At admission, laboratory test results that present obstructive jaundice were as follows: total bilirubin 17.4 mg/dL, alkaline phosphatase 372 IU/L, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) 3.0 ng/mL, and carbohydrate antigen 19–9 235 U/mL. This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and obstructive jaundice.
