NFKB1 and diabetic neuropathy: Previous study suggested that JSH-23 has an anti-inflammatory effect caused by its regulation of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nuclear NF-κB p65 translocation (Shin et al., 2004; Arias-Salvatierra et al., 2011), and JSH-23 was found to regulate the antioxidant defense machinery in depressive-like behaviors and diabetic neuropathy (Kumar et al., 2011; Wang et al., 2018); furthermore, JSH-23 was shown to inhibit Staphylococcus aureus or Staphylococcus aureus protein A-induced osteoclastogenesis (Ren et al., 2017).
