ALDOA is extensively expressed in the vast majority of organs and tissues, primarily in the developing embryo and adult muscle, and supports the maintenance of a variety of biological processes and cellular functions related to muscle.[4] In addition, ALDOA overexpression has been discovered in various cancers, such as human colorectal cancer, lung squamous cell cancer, hepatocellular cancer, renal cell cancer and pancreatic cancer [4–6]. This evidence concerns the gene ALDOA and pancreatic neoplasm.
