ELISA analysis revealed higher Wnt5a and Wnt11 levels in hypertension patients than those in the control group (Wnt5a: 0.23 ± 0.15 ng/ml vs 0.11 ± 0.08 ng/ml, p < 0.001; Wnt11:52.34 ± 47.11 pg/ml vs 12.85 ± 10.54 pg/ml, p < 0.001, Fig. 1A, B). Here, WNT5A is linked to hypertensive disorder.
