Here, we detected serum Wnt5a and Wnt11 levels in hypertension patients, and built a chronic pressure overload mouse model to detect cardiac Wnt5a and Wnt11 expression at different time-points, and explore the roles of cardiac-derived Wnt5a and Wnt11 in cardiac fibrosis and potential mechanisms under pressure overload. This evidence concerns the gene WNT5A and hypertensive disorder.
