Because earlier studies have shown that aluminum accumulates in the brain [18,38,39], aluminum induced aggregation of bovine brain cytoskeletal proteins in vitro [7], and aluminum has been linked with AD, Parkinson’s disease and autism [8,30,31,32,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41], we also measured aluminum antibody in the sera of patients with AD. This evidence concerns the gene DNM2 and Alzheimer disease.
