To investigate the role of LCN2 in the activation of DCs during Mtb infection, we examined the expression levels of MHC class I, MHC class II, and costimulatory molecules in CD11c+ cell populations from the mediastinal lymph nodes and lungs of WT and LCN2−/− mice after intratracheal infection with Mtb for 10 days. This evidence concerns the gene LCN2 and infection.
