When we stratified by menopausal status, each unit SD increase in BMI was significantly associated with reduced odds of Luminal A (aOR 0.59; 95% CI: 0.35, 0.99), Luminal B (aOR: 0.48; 95% CI: 0.26, 0.90), and HER2-enriched (aOR: 0.49; 95% CI: 0.27, 0.90) BC among pre/peri-menopausal women, and reduced odds of TNBC (aOR: 0.55; 95% CI: 0.32, 0.95) among post-menopausal women.
