CD207 and Alzheimer disease: In the comparisons between the AD and control cases in the mean numbers of CD207+ cells in the epidermis and CD11c+ cells both in the epidermis and upper dermis, only the mean numbers of CD11c+ cells in the epidermis (i.e., IDECs) were significantly higher in the AD cases than in the control cases with non-eczematous inflammatory skin disorders and serum hyper-IgE (Table 2).
