It was reported that circTshz2-2 increases adipogenesis-related gene expression, such as Pparγ and Fabp4, in obesity [23] while other reports suggest that Tshz2 regulates tumorigenesis and epigenetic methylation in breast and prostate cancers, and is involved in the development of zebrafish [24, 25]. This evidence concerns the gene TSHZ2 and obesity disorder.
