Small nucleolar RNA host gene 17 (SNHG17), as a 1186-nt lncRNA and located on human chromosome 20, has been reported as an oncogenic gene in colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, and glioma through regulating cellular proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis [14–19]. This evidence concerns the gene SNHG17 and breast cancer.
