Noteworthily, IL-20 had been implicated in numerous immune-mediated pathologies, such as asthma, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), spondyloarthritis, atherosclerosis, diabetes, lupus nephritis, enthesitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and ulcerative colitis (Blumberg et al., 2001; Hsu et al., 2006; Sa et al., 2007; Kragstrup et al., 2008, 2017; Wolk et al., 2008, 2009a,b; Ouyang et al., 2011; Rutz et al., 2014; Hsu and Chang, 2017; Senolt et al., 2017; Chen et al., 2018).
