The intranasal application of onion seed for 2 weeks in a cohort of 66 cases with allergic rhinitis reduced the nasal mucosal congestion, nasal itching, runny nose, sneezing attacks, turbinate hypertrophy, and mucosal pallor as well as IgE level and eosinophil count in nasal discharge during the first two weeks of treatment.
