The expression of AKR1B10 had significant association with tumor size (P < 0.001), depth of invasion (P < 0.001), lymph node metastasis (P < 0.001), venous invasion (P = 0.002), and TNM stage (P < 0.001), while no correlation with other clinicopathological variables such as age, gender, degree of differentiation or neural invasion (P > 0.05). Here, AKR1B10 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
