LNCAROD is distributed in both the nucleus and cytoplasm of HCC cells and promotes HCC progression via enhanced aerobic glycolysis through two independent routes: (1) interaction with SRSF3 to trigger PKM switching from PKM1 to PKM2 (nuclear LNCAROD), and (2) sponging miR-145-5p to upregulate PKM2 (cytoplasmic LNCAROD) via the ceRNA mechanism. Here, LNCAROD is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
