Importantly, immunofluorescences further indicated that NKD1 knockout remarkably decreased the nuclear accumulation of β‐catenin proteins in colon cancer cells, inferring that NKD1 knockout inhibited the Wnt/β‐catenin signal, which well explained why NKD1 knockout suppressed the growth of colon cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene NKD1 and malignant colon neoplasm.
