Alectinib is a second‐generation ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), which showed much better first‐line efficacy than first‐generation ALK‐TKI, crizotinib, with median progression‐free survival (PFS) being 34.8 months in untreated ALK‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).1 Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
