NEDD4L expression in cancer was significantly increased (according to cancer samples and normal samples) in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), kidney chromophobe (KICH), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD) and uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), whereas, NEDD4L expression significantly reduced in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), KIRC, kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) and rectum adenocarcinoma (READ) (Figure 1A, ***, p-value < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene NEDD4L and rectum adenocarcinoma.
