BRAF and neoplasm: BRAF is one of the three RAF genes that code for serine/threonine kinases, and V600E is the most dominant type of its mutation in which disruption of the A‐loop and the P‐loop of the BRAF mutant protein directly phosphorylates downstream MEK activity and BRAF kinase activity increases up to 700‐fold of the wild type to stimulate rapid cell growth of the tumor.8
