CD86+ cells were significantly increased in BD mice administered butyrate intraperitoneally (14.97 ± 1.76% vs. 7.28 ± 2.18%, p = 0.05) and orally (17.04 ± 10.24% vs. 7.28 ± 2.18%, p = 0.05) compared to untreated BD mice (Figure 5B). This evidence concerns the gene CD86 and Behcet disease.
