β1 integrin recruits the non-receptor tyrosine kinase Arg (Ableson-related gene, also known as Abl2) and stimulates the Arg-dependent phosphorylation of p190RhoGAP at the leading edge of fibroblasts; however, whether this occurs in breast cancer cell invadopodia has not yet been elucidated. Here, ABL2 is linked to breast cancer.
