As previously shown in various models of injury and infection in vivo (Rossi et al., 2006; Loynes et al., 2010; Leitch et al., 2012; Lucas et al., 2014; Hoodless et al., 2016; Barth et al., 2020), we found that CDK9 inhibitors enhance the resolution of neutrophilic inflammation following heart injury in larval zebrafish. This evidence concerns the gene CDK9 and infection.
