In a stepwise multivariable model, albumin (OR 0.34; 95% CI 0.17–0.70, p = 0.003) and log-transformed LDH levels (OR 1.90; 95% CI 1.07–3.24, p = 0.022), together with presence of tumor-related vascular compression (OR 5.35; 95% CI 2.30–12.10, p < 0.001) resulted as significantly associated with risk of TEs. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and neoplasm.
