Our data show that HSD suppressed B16 tumor growth in mice and is associated with a higher frequency of NK cells and NK cell–driven IFNγ production from tumor-infiltrating immune cells, while IFNγ neutralization abrogated the protective effect of HSD on tumor growth (Fig. 2, K and L) with effective neutralization of serum IFNγ but not TNFα (Fig. 2, M and N).
