To further elucidate this role of METTL3 in cervical cancer, METTL3 was overexpressed in SiHa and C33A cells, which led to a significant decrease in the viability of cervical cancer cells, while knockdown of METTL3 promoted growth of cervical cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo. Here, METTL3 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
