Dependence on glycolytic energy supply is one of the characteristics of tumor cells, and as a first attempt to investigate whether OIP5-AS1 regulate the Warburg effect under hypoxic conditions, we first quantified the amount of OIP5-AS1 in cervical cancer cells (Hela, Caski, Siha, Ms751) and immortalized human cervical squamous cells (Ect/E6E7) using RT-qPCR analysis. The gene discussed is OIP5; the disease is neoplasm.
