OIP5 and cervical carcinoma: Additionally, to identify the metabolic flux that contributes to changes, carbon-labeled glucose or glutamine was added in the culture medium and TCA cycle metabolites were measured, and found that (Figure 4E) OIP5-AS1 increased all metabolites in TCA cycle from C13-glucose, slightly decreased all metabolites in TCA cycle from C13-glutamine excepting significantly increased in α-KG, suggesting that OIP5-AS1 affects cervical cancer energy metabolism may be related to TCA cycle, especially α-KG metabolism.
