OIP5 and cervical carcinoma: Here we report a novel lncRNA obtained by sequencing technology that is abnormally expressed in cervical cancer tissues, OIP5-AS1, is highly expressed in cervical cancer tissues and predicts poor overall survival in cervical cancer patients, and has been reported to promote proliferation and invasion, and inhibit cell apoptosis by sponging miR-143-3p (Chen et al., 2019; Yang et al., 2019; Song et al., 2020).
