CTLA4 and neoplasm: Antibodies which inhibit programmed cell death protein 1 ligand 1 (PDL1), programmed cell death protein 1 (PD1), and T cell checkpoint cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA4) are thought to relieve T cells from inhibition in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and reactivate their function in tumor killing.
