With comparable levels of blood pressure in both DM and NDM groups, the usage rates of anti-hypertensive agents, including angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI), angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB), dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers (DHP-CCB) and thiazide-like diuretics, were higher in DM group than in NDM group.
