The natural log–transformed plasma levels of NfL, GFAP, tau, and UCHL1 in the controls were 2.33 ± 0.37, 4.35 ± 0.50, 0.31 ± 0.75, and 1.95 ± 0.91, respectively, whereas those of the patients with stroke at T1 (before EVT) were 3.74 ± 1.17 (P < 0.001), 5.63 ± 0.97 (P < 0.001), 0.38 ± 1.12 (P = 0.82), and 4.41 ± 0.4 (P < 0.001; Fig. 1), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and stroke disorder.
