Endocrine abnormalities like transient diabetes insipidus and decreased production of thyroid hormones and steroids can develop, so endocrine monitoring is needed.5,20 Patients may need life-long hormone replacement therapy because the pituitary function may not recover completely after the surgery.5-14 In our case, the patient developed diabetes insipidus and hypothyroidism postoperatively. The gene discussed is TG; the disease is hypothyroidism.
