To further confirm that wtTIDM exerts its anti-inflammatory and anti-proteinopathy effects via interaction with TLR2, 9-months-old A53TΔTLR2 control and wtTIDM-treated A53TΔTLR2 animals were compared with age-matched A53T mice with respect to the level of α-syn aggregates in neurons, the extent of gliosis, and lastly the motor behavior. This evidence concerns the gene TLR2 and proteostasis deficiencies.
