CD8A and colorectal carcinoma: Although there were also HLA-I phosphopeptides that did not elicit T cell responses from CRC patients (Figures 4B, C), given that CD8 T cells are known to control tumor growth in CRC, then the more interesting responses may be those that we have seen in tumor-resident T cells and observed to be higher in CRC patients’ peripheral blood (1–3, 9).
