Therefore, we used a double immunohistochemical staining approach combining Ki-67 immunostaining with a cocktail of antibodies against CD45 (immune cells), CD31 (vascular structures), Iba-1 (microglia and macrophages) and smooth muscle actin (ASMA) (vascular structures), which made it possible to identify non-neoplastic Ki-67 positive cells in the investigated glioma tissues. Here, MKI67 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
