NSUN2 and gastric cancer: By overexpressing NSUN2 wild-type and mutant plasmids in the BGC-823 NSUN2-knockout cell line, we found that both the wild-type and enzymatic dead mutants of NSUN2 were able to partly rescue the ability of proliferation and metastasis of GC cells, and the wild-type NSUN2 presented more significant functions (Fig. 5B, C and S3A).
